If you were employed by JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. as a Business Relationship Manager (“BRM”) I, II, III, or Senior BRM in the State of California at any time between February 1, 2014 to March 1, 2019, a settlement of a class and representative action lawsuit may affect your rights.
A hearing regarding a proposed settlement of this class action will be held on September 20, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at the Superior Court for the State of California for the County of San Diego, Courtroom C-68, 330 W Broadway, San Diego, CA 92101. The hearing will be held to determine whether the proposed settlement is fair, reasonable and adequate. The Court has approved the following Notice for distribution.

Former Business Relationship Managers Manuel Posadas and Jennifer Salas (“Plaintiffs”) have sued JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. (“Chase”) alleging failure to reimburse employees for certain business expenditures on behalf of themselves and all Business Relationship Managers who worked for Chase in California at any time between February 1, 2014 and March 1, 2019.

RECEIVE PAYMENT |
Do nothing. If the Settlement is approved, you will be sent a check for your share of the settlement and will release certain legal claims against Chase relating to reimbursement of business expenses.

OBJECT TO THE SETTLEMENT |
You may file a written objection to the terms of the settlement. If you file a timely written objection to the settlement with the Court and submit a copy of your written objection to the Settlement Administrator with a postmark on or before August 13, 2019, the Court may consider and may rule on any objection you have to the settlement. In order to be eligible to file an objection, you may not submit an “Opt Out” form. Even if your objection is overruled, you will still be able to participate in the settlement. |
OPT-OUT OF THE SETTLEMENT |
If you do not wish to receive any money from the settlement and wish to retain your rights, you may submit an Opt-Out Form to exclude yourself from the class action settlement.
By opting out or excluding yourself from the class action, you will not share in any of the settlement proceeds and will not be sent a settlement check. You will also not be able to object to any of the terms of the settlement. You will not be bound by the terms of the settlement with respect to Class Members and will not release your legal claims against Chase covered by the Released State Law Claims. If you opt-out of the settlement, your share of the settlement proceeds may be divided up amongst the class members who do not opt out of the settlement.
If you were employed as a BRM I, II, III, or Senior BRM from November 2, 2016 through March 1, 2019, you will still be bound by the Released PAGA Claims even if you submit an Opt Out form if the Court approves the Settlement.
